Burgundy Lips And Nails For Winter Holidays

Sorry for not posting for a whole week. I can’t say I’ve been super busy or something, it’s just the cold weather is affecting me too much – I haven’t even bought any makeup! 😦

Anyways, I’m back and I would like to tell you about my obsession with everything burgundy. I must admit, just a couple of months ago I thought it was ugly and boring, but everything changed when I got burgundy lipstick from Vivienne Sabo, then I got a lovely nailpolish, which I think is a perfect dark red color.

I am not a fan of bright red, so burgundy is what I call ‘perfect red’. The nailpolish is in color ‘320 Rapid Ruby’ and the lippy is in color 107. And sorry for the mess on the background 🙂

I am a tiny bit conscious of going out wearing this dark lipstick, coz I am not used to it. For the last couple of years I’ve been mostly wearing nude, pink or peachy lip products. But I’ve decided to give it a shot, and I am definitely going to wear it during the photoshoot, I am having in January.

It’s quite a pain in the butt to apply it precisely though. Especially for those, who are not used to bright/dark lipsticks. So I do recommend to use a lip liner. Trust me, it makes the application as easy as it can be.

I told you guys, I haven’t been makeup shopping for a week now, but I recently got this cute mug from Starbucks, which I am absolutely obsessed with.

Outfit Of The Day :)

Hi guys!

When I woke up today, it turned out it was really cold outside, so it was high time to take out my winter jacket. Swackett is one of my favourite Iphone apps btw. It’s so cute how it tells you what to wear 🙂

So I pulled out my favourite jeans from Mango. Honestly, jeans from Mango and River Island always fit me perfectly. The ones I wore today are simple navy skinnies. Mango jeans are also great for petites – I never have to shorten them) I love wearing these jeans with denim shirt also from Mango, that my lovely cousin gave to me. But because it’s cold, I also had to wear a jumper. It’s a stripey cotton jumper from H&M. I love how H&M stuff are soooooo amazingly cheap, yet their clothing are very cute and good quality too. For my shoes I wore my all-time favourite boots from H by Hudson (got them at Asos), unfortunately you can’t see them on the photo. My jacket is from River Island and my bag is from Paul’s Boutique.

I also straightened my hair yesterday, it’s shocking how long it has become))
