If you like foundations that have super sheer coverage and feel very lightweight, definitely try L’oreal’s Nude Magique. It looks very natural! Mine is in the shade 150 Nude Beige.

I also got a new eye cream, which is great, and two new concealers.
First, I needed a new undereye concealer. Since I heard so many positive reviews on Rimmel’s Wake me up concealer, I decided to get it. Mine is in the shade 020 True Ivory. It’s really moisturising and covers dark circles beautifully.
Second, I got my fav concealer for pimples and highlighting. True Match by L’oreal is seriously amazing stuff. However, I couldn’t find it in my shade 3 Creme, so I got 4 Beige and it came soooooooo pale, like almost white, so I am a little upset. But it really is a wonderful concealer.

These are the lip products that I discovered and enjoyed using in 2013. The reason I didn’t include my Sephora lip gloss or Vivienne Sabo Lipstick in 112 is because I first tried them in 2012.
Going back to my lip favourites of 2013, I’ve chosen 5 products – 2 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses and 1 lip stain.
The lipsticks are: Kate Matte by Rimmel in 107 (gorgeous and very pigmented burgundy) and Creme Cup by Mac (lovely neutral pink that looks good on so many people).
The lip glosses are: Glam Shine 6h by L’oreal in 102 Always Pink (identical to my natural lip color, looks good on it’s own and locks the lipstick for up to 4 hours) and YSL golden gloss in 20 (I didn’t like it at first, but it works great with my nude Rimmel lipsticks).
And finally, Apocalips by Rimmel in Nude Eclipse is the perfect nude. This lip stain stays on well and smells good. Lovely product!
Overall, I’ve tried so many great makeup products during 2013. Right now I am looking dorward to buying some lip glosses from Tanya Burr’s Lips & Nails collection. She is a great makeup artist and I am sure the products she is launching are going to be luxe quality.

Forgot the swatches, guys. From top: Apocalips by Rimmel in Nude Eclipse, Creme Cup by Mac, Kate by Rimmel in 107, Glam Shine 6h in 102, YSL lip gloss in 20.

I am not one of those bloggers who do a favourites post every month. I usually use the same stuff, so it would be quite boring to read for you guys. But during October I’ve been trying out some new products and some of them are pretty amazing.

Image

Starting with this fab sunglusses I got in the end of August. I love these but I am not a huge sunglasses lover – they always hurt my nose and give me headaches. The reason I got these is because my Accessorize ones got broken, so I purchased these from Asos for only $10! I was shocked when I received them – they felt really well done and super amazing quality. They look very expensive and I get lotsa compliments about these sunnies. Also I think everyone needs a pair of cheap sunglasses so that you won’t be afraid of breaking them. That is the reason I use these most of the time and my Marc Jacobs ones are always at home

Next – my favourite perfume for Fall. I have never included a perfume into my favourites post as far as I remember, but since I’ve been using Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears non-stop during October, I thought I’d mention it. I got it a while ago in Bangkok airport, mine is a 50 ml bottle that has one third of it left now. It’s a sweet but not too overwhelming scent. I know that most people use it in the evining but for me it’s a 24h perfume that is very feminine. I am not very good at describing perfumes, but if you like sweet and quite deep scents, definitely try it out.

Argan Oil Nutrition Infusing Mask by Argan Deluxe is something I have been raving about for a while. Great product for split and dry ends. I have done a separate review on this hair treatment so I am just going to say that it is my all-time favourite mask that makes my hair healthy, shiny and more voluminous.

Going to my makeup favourites, I’d like to mention a product that I’ve talked about in my previous posts – Rimmel’s Kate Matte Lipstick in 107. Perfect burgundy shade, that doesn’t smudge (for more details check out my previous posts).

And finally, my two last makeup products that I adore, both by L’oreal – True Match foundation and concealer.

True Match foundation by L’oreal ( I am in the shade R3-C3) is one of the best drugstore foundations

I have ever used. It’s better than some high-end ones even. It’s not too cakey, blendable and feels light on my skin, but also gives me a decent amount of coverage. It really does kind of adapt to your skin, which I love. Great for normal to combination skin.

My last favourite is  True Match concealer. I received it as a present from my aunt. Mine is in the shade ‘3 Cream’ and it’s a very neutral beige color with yellow undertones. When I started using it in August I was very tan and it worked perfect, and now when I am quite pale I still use it and it doesn’t look dark at all. So it adapts to your skin too, just as the foundation. It has quite thick and dry consistency, so I definitely recommend it for concealing blemishes and any kind of redness, but not under eye circles.  Overall, the best concealer I have ever tried, will definitely repurchase it.

I have recently received these L’oreal products as a gift, so after using them for a while, I thought it would be great to do a review.

Starting from L’oreal Glam Shine 6h lip gloss, I must say I was very prejudiced against it. I tried it in different shades and I absolutely hated it – it smelled cheap, was VERY sticky (even stickier than Victoria’s Secret lip glosses!) and it dried up my lips like crazy. After that awful experience, I would never ever go buy them again. However, when I received one as a present, I forced myself to give it another try.

Mine is in the shade 102 ‘Always Pink’ and it’s a pretty dark pink with very subtle shimmer to it. The color is very sheer and matches my natural lip color almost perfectly. It looks very flattering on almost anyone because it looks so neutral. After applying it, I realized it wasn’t that bad at all. I have found out that with L’oreal 6H lip glosses, some shades just have crappy quality and sticky texture to them, but this one turned out absolutely lovely. As I have already mentioned, it looks very natural and pretty on it’s own, but I love using a nice moisturising lipstick underneath (so that it won’t dry up my lips). Definitely going to purchase a couple of more shades of these.

Next – my new concealer True Match by L’oreal. I have been loving my Garnier roller under my eyes and my Maybelline concealer to cover up rednesses/pimples for a while, until I got this little devil. It’s quite thick, so I won’t recomment using it under your eyes, but to cover up other imperfections, it’s perfect. Great drugstore product, that is easy to apply and blend, it also stays on very well. But what I like best, is the shade – it’s just perfect and it really adapts to my skin tone. If you are tan like me or slightly lighter, definitely try the shade 3 ‘Cream’.

And finally, the new eyliner I got from one of my favourite makeup brands – Vivienne Sabo. I can’t say I am too pleased with it – it’s okay, nothing special. The tip seems really great, but it actually took me a while to make a perfect cat-eye. It’s an okay drugstore eyeliner for just $6.

Favourite Mascaras

It’s been a week since my Grandpa passed away, so I’m trying to go back to my normal life and working makes it slightly easier. I was looking through my makeup bag today and thought, I never payed enough attention to my favourite mascaras. I’ve been using these two for a while now. I find they are perfect for anyone! The first one – Cabaret mascara by Vivienne Sabo has a smaller brush, gives a more natural look. The second one – by L’oreal is definitely for those who aim for a more dramatic look. But they are both fabulous!!! I usually do one coat of Cabaret on my upper lashes and then, after it dries a bit, apply two coats of L’oreal. And for my lower lashes I put two coats of Cabaret.
So if you are looking for a great drugstore mascara, I do recommend trying these babes!

Hello ladies,

I just realized I haven’t been posting about my monthly favourites for a while now, so I want to share with you my March favourites. These bad boys I have been using a lot during the month of March.

ImageI

I would like to start with Glorious Mud facial mask by Beauty Formulas. I love BF products – they are good for my skin, they don’t break me out and they are very affordable. And this mask is not an exception  – it leaves my skin soft, deeply cleaned, poreless and matte. It’s perfect if you have oily or acne-prone skin. Mine is oily, so I use this stuff once or twice a week and my skin loves it.

Another favourite of mine is Nivea lip balm in ‘Milk & Honey’. I told you guys that my skin is oily. But there is one dry patch on my face – my lips. If your lips also tend to get chapped a lot, definitely try this balm – it’s VERY moisturising, smells lovely and costs approximately $2!

Before moving towards my makeup favourites, I would like to mention a fabulous product that is just in between. Yeap, I am talking about Garnier roll-on concealer for the under eye area. It’s the best concealer for covering up dark circles, also it moisturises the tender skin so well. I am definitely going to repurchase that as soon as I run out of it. It’s like a good concealer and an eye cream in one bottle!

Also, I would like to mention  Volume Millions Lashes Excess Mascara by L’oreal. I’ve been using it a lot in March. I am very pleased with the quality and the brush. You can do any look with it – it can make your lashes look very natural, or if you put more coats, you get a more dramatic took, which I love. Like any other L’oreal Mascara, this one is very good.

And finally, my Maybelline Color Tattoos cream eyeshadows. I got these in summer and I used them a lot. But recently I started using them again as an eyeshadow base. These babies really make my Naked2 palette pop. If I do an everyday look, I would use the golden Color Tattoo eyshadow (sorry, don’t remember the name), but if I am doing a smokey eye, I would sweep the bronzy color all over my lid and then apply something like ‘Busted’ or ‘Snakebite’ from Naked2.

So yeah, these are my March favourites.

xoxo

Hi ladies!!!

I am sorry for not posting for a while. Frankly speaking, I wasn’t quite in a mood to blog 😦

But today, since the spring is finally here, I wanted to do a quick post about a couple of items.

ImageIMG_3497

My aunt gave me this lovely necklace a couple of weeks ago and I love it soooooooo much!!!!! It’s fab! I love the combo of gold, crystals, spikes and black detailing. Although it looks like a statement necklace, it’s really versatile. I am sure I am going to wear it a lot during the spring time. It looks gorgeous with jumpers, shirts (luv it with my denim shirt so much), loose t-shirts and dresses.

Another item, I wanted to tell you guys, is the new L’oreal mascara. The moment I saw the commercial with amazing and talented Eva Longoria, I new I had to have that mascara 🙂

Wait, have I mentioned I got the coolest grandma ever?)) She gave me this mascara and a new L’oreal eye liner (I am not sure if it just came out, I just haven’t seen it before). I haven’t told her anything, she just somehow knew I wanted it. Apparently, my makeup obsession is not a secret to anyone lol 🙂

I really like the mascara – the quality, the brush, just everything about it is amazing. However I don’t see how it’s better than all the other L’oreal mascaras. They are all perfect to me. BTW I seem to be the only person, who hates Maybelline mascaras, especially falsies! I know, so many people love it. I guess it just didn’t work for me. So I am definitely more a L’oreal mascara person.

The eye liner is fine. I mean I am not a huge fan of it’s tip/brush, whatever you like to call it. I think it should be  thinner. Anyway, I always use a separate brush to apply my eyeliner, so it’s fine with me.

Have you guys tried any of these products? What do you think? What’s your favourite mascara, eyeliner?
