I am loving WaterMinder at the moment! As many of you have already guessed, it reminds you to drink more water. When I first apploaded it, the app asked my weight and gender, so it can help me understand how much water I need. Since water is super important for your health, I do recommend downloading this app!

Next, Calm or calm.com , which is an app that helps you get rid of anxiety, panic attacks, etc. I absolutely love meditating with this app. Also it helps me fall asleep and encourages to step out of my comfort zone.

And finally, Sleep Time. It’s not just an alarm clock! You set the time in the evening, and then in the morning the app wakes you app maybe 10-5 min. before or something like that. The reason – Sleep Time detects your sleep stages and wakes you during quiet sleep stage, hence you feel better in the morning and it’s easier to leave your bed.
This apps are free, so definitely try them.

I am wondering what’s it like to not freak out when you see monkeys, elephants, etc in the street. I mean, for Sri Lankan people monkeys are pretty much the same as cats for us – cute, but nothing too exciting.
Animals are probably one of the aspects I enjoyed most in SL, and they are everywhere. Holding baby turtles and monkeys felt almost surreal 🙂
Hope you guys enjoy the photos

These are beautiful examples of colonnial style architecture in Kandy, Sri Lanka. I loved how they stand next to Buddhist temples – so weird but absolutely stunning.

If you like foundations that have super sheer coverage and feel very lightweight, definitely try L’oreal’s Nude Magique. It looks very natural! Mine is in the shade 150 Nude Beige.

I also got a new eye cream, which is great, and two new concealers.
First, I needed a new undereye concealer. Since I heard so many positive reviews on Rimmel’s Wake me up concealer, I decided to get it. Mine is in the shade 020 True Ivory. It’s really moisturising and covers dark circles beautifully.
Second, I got my fav concealer for pimples and highlighting. True Match by L’oreal is seriously amazing stuff. However, I couldn’t find it in my shade 3 Creme, so I got 4 Beige and it came soooooooo pale, like almost white, so I am a little upset. But it really is a wonderful concealer.

Since I had a couple of hours to spend in duty free zone in Dubai, I decided to buy a couple of new makeup items.
First, I needed a good undereye concealer. So I popped into Mac.

Select Moisturecover concealer is wonderful – it hides dark circles, moisturises skin and looks natural. Mine is in the shade NW25.

Next, I picked a new blush. It is Mac’s mineralize blush in Warm Soul, which is a beautiful peachy gold color with some subtle shimmer. It can also be used as eyeshadow.

And finally, I got a new brown eyeshadow from Benefit. Very pretty dark chocolate color with shimmer. The shade is called ‘kiss me, i’m tipsy’

I don’t have enough words to express my obsession with this cute little bag from Oasis. I recently did a post on this bag and two other, but it’s just amazing. And goes with so many outfits. It’s out of stock at House of Fraser (where I originally got it), but you can buy it at Asos or your local Oasis.
The boots are from River Island (check out my previous posts). Wore them the first time today and they are not only stylish but extremely comfy, too.

And yep, I fed swans today. This is a very relaxing thing to do btw. These majestic and beautiful creatures are simply mesmerising.

These are the lip products that I discovered and enjoyed using in 2013. The reason I didn’t include my Sephora lip gloss or Vivienne Sabo Lipstick in 112 is because I first tried them in 2012.
Going back to my lip favourites of 2013, I’ve chosen 5 products – 2 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses and 1 lip stain.
The lipsticks are: Kate Matte by Rimmel in 107 (gorgeous and very pigmented burgundy) and Creme Cup by Mac (lovely neutral pink that looks good on so many people).
The lip glosses are: Glam Shine 6h by L’oreal in 102 Always Pink (identical to my natural lip color, looks good on it’s own and locks the lipstick for up to 4 hours) and YSL golden gloss in 20 (I didn’t like it at first, but it works great with my nude Rimmel lipsticks).
And finally, Apocalips by Rimmel in Nude Eclipse is the perfect nude. This lip stain stays on well and smells good. Lovely product!
Overall, I’ve tried so many great makeup products during 2013. Right now I am looking dorward to buying some lip glosses from Tanya Burr’s Lips & Nails collection. She is a great makeup artist and I am sure the products she is launching are going to be luxe quality.
