Hello ladies,

I have realised how boring I’ve become – I only buy practical stuff that I need 😦

Have to do something about it. I just feel like in the winer time I have no desire to splurge.

Anyways, let’s get started with my recent beauty haul.

First item I got is thisΒ  hair mask. I have run out of my hair mask a couple of weeks ago, but decided to buy a new one only after I got a haircut on Monday. I have this little tradition, whenever I get a haircut, I always buy some new treatment for my hair after that. So since I have oils, conditioners, heat protection, bla bla bla other stuff from Lee Stafford (that I am obsessed with), I realised I didn’t have a hair mask, so I got this one. It was around $8, which is a great deal, because the bottle is huge.

Haven’t tried this yet, but I am pretty sure it’s good. I usually use hair mask only once a week, because if I do more, my hair tends to get even more oily. So what I do with hair masks, I wash my hair in the evening, apply the mask on my hair from ears and down to the ends, then I do a very high hair bun (without rinsing the mask), and go to bed. In the morning I rinse the mask, my hair looks very healthy and shiny after this little procedure.

I also got a new face mask. I run out of my Nivea one, so I wanted to try out something new. I found these in Watson’s and because they were very affordable, I decided to give them a shot.

I have tried all of them. They didn’t break me out, left my skin feeling fresh and matte. If you have combination to oily skin, definitely try them out.

And finally, I purchased this moisturiser, which is amazing and smells yummi

It really smells like chocolate and leaves my skin super soft. Also, I’ve noticed how great are all the Beauty Formulas products. You can never go wrong with them.

That’s it for my little beauty haul. Hope you guys enjoyed it.

P.S. HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY TO ALL OF YOU! πŸ™‚

Hey guys,

It is the time of the year, when you can just stop for a minute and appreciate the value of friends and family, realize how blessed you are to have these amazing people in your life. When you get a gift, it’s not just something material. By giving something this person shows that he/she cares about you. Isn’t that the most wonderful thing in the world, to know that someone loves you and cares for you?)

That is why I’ve been SUPER excited about the gifts this year. When most of your friends are far away from you, it’s important to know they still remember about you, and show them your love too.

As you can see I got some makeup, which I think is always a great present.

IMG_2922

First of all, this makeup kit. It’s from the amazing Italian makeup brand Pupa. I’ve owned a couple of items by Pupa, and they’ve always been very good quality.

IMG_2927

This particular kit in bronze color (they also have it in black, as far as I know) contains a cute little makeup bag, eyeshadow quad and an eye pencil.

IMG_2936IMG_2931

I am particularly excited about this pencil. It’s shimmery and looks gorgeous on your lower lash line.

The eyeshadow quad is okay. I mean the colors are nice , I just wish Pupa eyeshadows were as pigmented and creamy as my Naked2 palette.

I also got this lovely bronzing powder/highlighter. It’s from Giordani Gold.

I love the packaging too – it has a little snake on it.

I think, it’s too shimmery to use as a bronzer, but it’s a nice highlighter. It reminds me a lot of Mac’s mineralize skinfinish in ‘soft and gentle’.

This is how it looks on my skin.

The last thing I got makeup-wise, is this base coat nailpolish:

It’s called P2Β  Ridgefiller, it’s a German brand. It says ‘Ridgefiller with silk powder for a smooth nail surface’. My friend Katy, who lives in Munich sent it to me, she says it works great for her, so I’m sure I’m gonna love it. I received the package today, so I haven’t used it yet.

She also got me this ADORABLEΒ  cup πŸ™‚ OMG I am so obsessed with it. Thank you, Katy, I love you so much!

My cousin Medeya sent me a lovely sweater from Mango. I love Mango, it’s basically one of my favourite brands. And this sweater is soft, warm, loose and very very cozy – exactly what you need for chilly winter days. And it’s very versatile too – you can pair it with all sort of boots, jeans, accessories, jewellery, etc. So thank you Medeya, I love you and I love the gifts you give me πŸ™‚

And finally, I wanted to reming you guys about the giveaway!!!

I got something new for it:

Happy New Year to all of you guys!!!!! I am super excited and I hope all of our dreams will come true in 2013 πŸ™‚

I must say, that for me the year has started really well (except for the fact that I am sick, but got sick in 2012, so it doesn’t count)))

Look what my mum gave me πŸ™‚ I luv luv luv chocolate

So these couple of days I’ve been enjoying my junk food and watching my new favourite TV Show. And OMG I’m really obssesed with it!!!!! If you enjoyed ‘the Tudors’ and ‘the Borgias’, you are definitely gonna like this one

Image

It’s called ‘Magnificent Century’ and it’s about the life of the Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, traditions of the Ottoman Empire and Muslim world of that time. This Turkish TV series also shows us women living in harem, their never-ending struggle for Sultan’s love and attention. As my Turkish is pretty horrible, I watch it with English subtitles. I do recommend it because it’s very entertaining and also because it’s historical, you can learn something new.

For those of you guys who are not yet convinced to watch this amazing TV Show :

Let’s face it, Turkish actor/model Burak Ozcivit is reason enough to start watching it right now)) Best history class ever πŸ˜‰

Hi guys,

Sorry for not posting for a whole week. I can’t say I’ve been super busy or something, it’s just the cold weather is affecting me too much – I haven’t even bought any makeup! 😦

Anyways, I’m back and I would like to tell you about my obsession with everything burgundy. I must admit, just a couple of months ago I thought it was ugly and boring, but everything changed when I got burgundy lipstick from Vivienne Sabo, then I got a lovely nailpolish, which I think is a perfect dark red color.

Image

I am not a fan of bright red, so burgundy is what I call ‘perfect red’. The nailpolish is in color ‘320 Rapid Ruby’ and the lippy is in color 107. And sorry for the mess on the background πŸ™‚

I am a tiny bit conscious of going out wearing this dark lipstick, coz I am not used to it. For the last couple of years I’ve been mostly wearing nude, pink or peachy lip products. But I’ve decided to give it a shot, and I am definitely going to wear it during the photoshoot, I am having in January.

Image

It’s quite a pain in the butt to apply it precisely though. Especially for those, who are not used to bright/dark lipsticks. So I do recommend to use a lip liner. Trust me, it makes the application as easy as it can be.

I told you guys, I haven’t been makeup shopping for a week now, but I recently got this cute mug from Starbucks, which I am absolutely obsessed with.

Loving my hot green tee πŸ™‚

Oh, and you guys can see my Sephora clear makeup bag, Sephora lipstick, Vivienne Sabo lip gloss, Urban Decay De Slick setting spray and my favourite Neutrogena lip balm.

I also got something special for my GIVEAWAY, which I’m going to tell you in my next post.

Hi guys!

Image

When I woke up today, it turned out it was really cold outside, so it was high time to take out my winter jacket. Swackett is one of my favourite Iphone apps btw. It’s so cute how it tells you what to wear πŸ™‚

So I pulled out my favourite jeans from Mango. Honestly, jeans from Mango and River Island always fit me perfectly. The ones I wore today are simple navy skinnies. Mango jeans are also great for petites – I never have to shorten them) I love wearing these jeans with denim shirt also from Mango, that my lovely cousin gave to me. But because it’s cold, I also had to wear a jumper. It’s a stripey cotton jumper from H&M. I love how H&M stuff are soooooo amazingly cheap, yet their clothing are very cute and good quality too. For my shoes I wore my all-time favourite boots from H by Hudson (got them at Asos), unfortunately you can’t see them on the photo. My jacket is from River Island and my bag is from Paul’s Boutique.

Image

I also straightened my hair yesterday, it’s shocking how long it has become))

That’s it for my casual OOTD, hope you guys like it.

Have a great weekend!

Hugs =)
