If you have been reading my blog for a while, you probably know that my all time favourite lip gloss is Sephora Ultra Shine Lip Gloss.

I have been raving about it for more than a year.

I first picked it up quite randomly. I was looking for a clear gloss, but instead I picked up their ’42 Precious Pink Jewels’. It is a very sheer light pink shade with gorgeous and very subtle shimmer to it. When I use this stuff on top of my lipstick, the brush always picks up a little bit of the lipstick. So eventually this lip gloss changes the color and becomes less sheer and even prettier.

But today I would like to talk about another shade from the Sephora lip gloss line. The new one I got recently is ’06 Shimmery Fresh Peach’. The Sephora website describes it as ‘shimmering golden peach’ and I don’t have anything to add.

Frankly speaking, I wasn’t too excited when I saw it in the bottle as it looked quite scarry and way too gold. But when I first tried it, I saw how sheer and pretty it looked. This shade looks beautiful both on top of a lip stick and on its own, however I do prefer it with a lippie underneath.

Moving towards the quality, it is hands down the best lip gloss I have ever tried in my entire life. Personally for me it works way better than YSL, Dior, MAC, etc. It is VERY light-weight on my lips, non-sticky and long-lasting. Smells absolutely lovely, has great brush and is super hydrating.

So, basically, for $14 you get a massive tube of an amazing lip gloss! I think it’s a great price for such a high-quality lip gloss!

I am not one of those bloggers who do a favourites post every month. I usually use the same stuff, so it would be quite boring to read for you guys. But during October I’ve been trying out some new products and some of them are pretty amazing.

Image

Starting with this fab sunglusses I got in the end of August. I love these but I am not a huge sunglasses lover – they always hurt my nose and give me headaches. The reason I got these is because my Accessorize ones got broken, so I purchased these from Asos for only $10! I was shocked when I received them – they felt really well done and super amazing quality. They look very expensive and I get lotsa compliments about these sunnies. Also I think everyone needs a pair of cheap sunglasses so that you won’t be afraid of breaking them. That is the reason I use these most of the time and my Marc Jacobs ones are always at home

Next – my favourite perfume for Fall. I have never included a perfume into my favourites post as far as I remember, but since I’ve been using Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears non-stop during October, I thought I’d mention it. I got it a while ago in Bangkok airport, mine is a 50 ml bottle that has one third of it left now. It’s a sweet but not too overwhelming scent. I know that most people use it in the evining but for me it’s a 24h perfume that is very feminine. I am not very good at describing perfumes, but if you like sweet and quite deep scents, definitely try it out.

Argan Oil Nutrition Infusing Mask by Argan Deluxe is something I have been raving about for a while. Great product for split and dry ends. I have done a separate review on this hair treatment so I am just going to say that it is my all-time favourite mask that makes my hair healthy, shiny and more voluminous.

Going to my makeup favourites, I’d like to mention a product that I’ve talked about in my previous posts – Rimmel’s Kate Matte Lipstick in 107. Perfect burgundy shade, that doesn’t smudge (for more details check out my previous posts).

And finally, my two last makeup products that I adore, both by L’oreal – True Match foundation and concealer.

True Match foundation by L’oreal ( I am in the shade R3-C3) is one of the best drugstore foundations

I have ever used. It’s better than some high-end ones even. It’s not too cakey, blendable and feels light on my skin, but also gives me a decent amount of coverage. It really does kind of adapt to your skin, which I love. Great for normal to combination skin.

My last favourite is  True Match concealer. I received it as a present from my aunt. Mine is in the shade ‘3 Cream’ and it’s a very neutral beige color with yellow undertones. When I started using it in August I was very tan and it worked perfect, and now when I am quite pale I still use it and it doesn’t look dark at all. So it adapts to your skin too, just as the foundation. It has quite thick and dry consistency, so I definitely recommend it for concealing blemishes and any kind of redness, but not under eye circles.  Overall, the best concealer I have ever tried, will definitely repurchase it.

I have recently received these L’oreal products as a gift, so after using them for a while, I thought it would be great to do a review.

Starting from L’oreal Glam Shine 6h lip gloss, I must say I was very prejudiced against it. I tried it in different shades and I absolutely hated it – it smelled cheap, was VERY sticky (even stickier than Victoria’s Secret lip glosses!) and it dried up my lips like crazy. After that awful experience, I would never ever go buy them again. However, when I received one as a present, I forced myself to give it another try.

Mine is in the shade 102 ‘Always Pink’ and it’s a pretty dark pink with very subtle shimmer to it. The color is very sheer and matches my natural lip color almost perfectly. It looks very flattering on almost anyone because it looks so neutral. After applying it, I realized it wasn’t that bad at all. I have found out that with L’oreal 6H lip glosses, some shades just have crappy quality and sticky texture to them, but this one turned out absolutely lovely. As I have already mentioned, it looks very natural and pretty on it’s own, but I love using a nice moisturising lipstick underneath (so that it won’t dry up my lips). Definitely going to purchase a couple of more shades of these.

Next – my new concealer True Match by L’oreal. I have been loving my Garnier roller under my eyes and my Maybelline concealer to cover up rednesses/pimples for a while, until I got this little devil. It’s quite thick, so I won’t recomment using it under your eyes, but to cover up other imperfections, it’s perfect. Great drugstore product, that is easy to apply and blend, it also stays on very well. But what I like best, is the shade – it’s just perfect and it really adapts to my skin tone. If you are tan like me or slightly lighter, definitely try the shade 3 ‘Cream’.

And finally, the new eyliner I got from one of my favourite makeup brands – Vivienne Sabo. I can’t say I am too pleased with it – it’s okay, nothing special. The tip seems really great, but it actually took me a while to make a perfect cat-eye. It’s an okay drugstore eyeliner for just $6.

Since I haven’t been makeup/beauty shopping for a while, I ran out of some products, plus I wanted to try some new ones.

Okay, as you guys know, Rimmel is probably one of my favourite makeup brands ever. Their products are amazing, so I decided to grab a couple of Rimmel stuff.

First of all, I almost ran out of my favourite powder, mine is in shade 005 ‘Silky beige’:

Image

It’s a great powder for those of us with combination to oily skin. But for summer, when we all get sweaty, it’s a must.

Image

Image

As you guys know, I love Apocalips lip stains and I am especially loving this one in ‘Nude eclipse’. It’s gorgeous, has very creamy opaque formula, stays on well and has very fresh scent to it. Speaking about the Scandaleyes eye shadow stick, it’s my first one and I think it’s a very decent product for the prise. Again, very creamy, vibrant colour, doesn’t smudge. Mine is in shade ‘Bulletproof beige’. And finally the last Rimmel purchase was this eye primer. I haven’t used many eye primers before, only Urban Decay’s one. I usually use my Maybelline’s Color Tattoo eyeshaws as eye shadow base and they work great for me. I was very curious and excited to get this primer, but I didn’t love it that much. I mean it is okay, nothing special.

Next thing I got – a new lip gloss. Since I ran out of my favourite from Sephora, I needed something similar – something very light, non-sticky, moisturising and with a beautiful subtle shimmer to it.

Image

This YSL gloss is in color ‘Golden Macadamia’ and in person it is more beige than pink. I really love the packaging and how gorgeous the color is. However I am not a fan of the brush and the smell. I can say that overall, it’s okay, but I definitely like my Sephora lip gloss (which is like 3 times cheaper) much more!

That’s it for my makeup purchases, and now going to my recent beauty buys.

Image

If you like peel off facial masks, you are probably going to enjoy this one by Beauty Formulas – smells great, cleanses perfectly and is very affordable. Another Beauty Formulas purchase – my favourite cleansing wipes. Because my skin is sensitive, I get these ones and they are brilliant – they remove all the impurities and don’t break me out. And they are also very cheap.

You guys know, how much I love Lee Stafford hair products and I really like my new heat protecting spray. It definitely does what it says. Definitely try it if you are looking for a good product that protects your skin against flat iron, curling wand, blow drying, etc.

And finally, the last thing I got was a new daily moisturiser.

Image

This one by Garnier is pretty good. I apply a tiny amount on my face when I am not wearing makeup. Since my skin is oily, I can’t put it under foundation, I just use some facial toner.  I find that this stuff is really good for those days when you want your skin to rest a bit, but if you have dry to normal skin, you can probably use it instead of a primer, because it leaves your skin very silky.

That’s it for my recent haul,

Love you guys

xoxo

Hi guys!

Just wanted to show you guys these two lovely items by MAC, that actually were a gift from my friend Alina. I luuuuuuuve them!!!!

I am really excited whenever I get something from MAC, because where I live now we don’t have any MAC store 😦 And yes, unfortunatelly such places do exist 😦 So every time I travel or my friends go somewhere, my target is MAC))) Obviously, there is a lot of fuss going on around this makeup brand, but come on guys their quality is AMAZING!!! Honestly, I have never been disappointed with a MAC product.

Image

Lovely, right?))) Okay, let’s start with the blush. I’ve been looking for a perfect coral/peachy color for a while now, and from the moment I saw this blush in color ‘Peaches’, I knew wanted it. Again, the quality is great, lovely texture, the blush is very buildable. But I think this shade looks better on deeper skintones, so I am looking forward to being tan again))

Image

The lipsticks is very nice too. Love the packaging and that it’s very moisturising, also it tastes good, not too sweet. It looks much more beigy/brown than on the photo. The lippy is in color ‘Creme cup’, if you are wondering. I think it’s a perfect pink/nude color, that will suit anyone, no matter your skin tone or hair color.

xoxo

Hello ladies,

Just a quick post on 3 makeup items I got on Friday. Super excited about these!!!

Image

First of all, I got a new concealer. It’s from Garnier and it works amazingly for the under eye area. I feel like most concelers are perfect for hiding blemishes and other skin imperfections, but are not that good for eye circles, but the Garnier one is perfect for delicate skin and is a great moisturiser too! It’s around $10 in Watson’s, or check out any other drugstore.

The other 2 items I purchased from feelunique.com  and they are amazing!

Have you guys heard that Cosmopolitan came up with this lovely brow kit? It’s not too big, like some other brow kits, includes tweezers, little brush (which is not very good quality and I don’t use it), highlighting pencil, 2 eyeshadows for defining your brows, brow wax, little mirror and 3 brow stencils. It was $14 and I think it’s a lovely product for the price.

And finally, a new blush from Rimmel. This is sooooooo cute! Honestly, Rimmel products are so good for a ridiculously affordable price. The blush was only $7 btw

Okay, so it’s a lovely peachy pink color. It’s not exactly matte, it has a very subtle shimmer to it, which I love. It’s in color ‘Pink Rose’.

That’s it for my little makeup shopping. Hope u guys like it.

Hello ladies,

OMG I am seriously obsessed with my new Tangle Teezer brush. I got it just a couple of days ago and I have no idea how I lived without it!

This is how it looks like:

Image

I saw one of my favourite beauty gurus Tanya Burr http://tanyaburr.co.uk use this stuff in one of her videos. Let’s face it, the brush looks a little bit weird, so I decided to try it out. I purchased mine from feelunique.com

It’s online beauty store, which does free international shipping with no minimum spent!

So yeah, I got it from there. The colors available were black, orange, neon pink and this beautiful gliitery purple (it looks navy on the pictures, but it’s actually purple).

IMG_3293IMG_3295IMG_3300

I love everything about this brush – it’s shape, size (not too big, not too small), bristles.  My hair tends to get very tangled, probably because it’s so long. Brushing has always been something that I hated doing, because it was very painful all the time. However, since I got this little pal, brushing my hair is ridiculously easy and fast. But the main thing is that, I have noticed that with Tangle Teezer I loose so much less hair while brushing, than I used to! So thumbs up for this stuff!!!! 🙂

I got it for £10, which this magic brush is 100% worth I think!
