I was super excited to visit the Museum of Tsunami in Hikkaduwa. It is sistuated in a small house, damaged by tsunami in 2004. You can see how water changed things and also drastically changed lifes of people. The most touching are the pictures drawn by children. This is how they see and understand tsunami. If you go to Hikkaduwa, I definitely recommend visiting this museum as it helps you appreciate your life and people around you.

There is also a mass grave of train victims and a beautiful statue of Buddha, gift of Japanese government.
